This morning, Community Investment Strategies (CIS) CEO, Chris Foglio, was a featured panelist on NJ Spotlight's roundtable to discuss the status of affordable housing in New Jersey.
“New Jersey’s housing costs rank in the top ten of the nation,” said Foglio. “Affordable housing is a fundamental human need. As a state, we have struggled to fund, build, and allocate appropriate resources for truly affordable options. We must now recognize the impact to our state’s ability to grow without a true housing plan for the future.”
Panelists shared their expert opinion on current affordable housing needs, the number of homes expected to be built, and the prospect of the state taking control of the process.
